Michael is a lawyer, founder and entrepreneur, with over 20 years’ experience in legal, M&A, fundraising, investment, compliance, data protection. Michael has worked at blue chip organisations such as Freshfields, UK Competition Authority, TATA and the Kinnevik Group.
Michael has a long track record of supporting and closing fundraising deals, working on 30+ M&A deals and fundraises with a combined enterprise value of over £1BN.

Nick has extensive fundraising experience in the technology, wellness, and life science sectors, offering strategic advice to early and growth-stage businesses. Outside of Alator, Nick is a Venture Partner for a US deep tech VC. An Oxford University graduate, Nick’s academic prowess complements his forward-thinking approach, making him a vital contributor to the evolving landscape of tech and wellness.

Philip is a seasoned former CFO of Amazon EMEA, Deliveroo, and Groupon, excels in leading high-growth businesses. He scaled Amazon over eight years, led Deliveroo's record-breaking growth, and prepared companies for public listings. With extensive board experience, including Amazon EU Sarl and Groupon, he also launched a media fund with JPM. Phil is a prominent Angel investor and a General Partner in the UK’s first athlete-led fund, and a founding LP in a European Deep Tech fund.

Sam runs a family office community called FOS, with nearly 500 members globally. He previously worked at TruVenturo (a German family office), and a number of its portfolio companies - including HomeToGo and Joblift - and the TruVenturo-anchored VC fund, Apollo Health Ventures. Before TruVenturo, Sam worked at The Salamanca Group, Euromoney and Zanbato. Prior to 2016, Sam spent seven years abroad focusing on political risk in Asia-Pacific.

Ariella is a former lawyer with six years of experience in a growth-stage M&A advisory fund. She then joined SVB UK, where she built the Founder Success Program before it was acquired by HSBC and became HSBC IB. Currently, she advises family offices on deals and supports female-founded startups in the ecosystem.

Fernando has experience in entrepreneurship across multiple industries and regions. His background includes developing and managing a start-up in the hospitality industry, as well as project management for an app software in LatAm. He has engaged in environmental issues and diplomacy serving as an Official Delegate for the Honduran Government at the United Nations COP26. He holds a BSc in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from King's College London.
